Reebok

Reebok was founded in 1895 as J.W. Foster and Sons in Bolton, England. Introducing new and pioneering spiked running shoe designs, the company quickly gained traction and produced running shoes for British athletes at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris. The Reebok brand name - taken from a South African antelope - was chosen to represent the lightweight speed and agility afforded by the brand's early designs. In the 1980s Reebok gained huge popularity in the American market, initially among athletes - particularly basketball players such as Shaquille O'Neal - before being widely adopted by hip-hop fashion and youth culture.

Today the company is a global force, now owned as a subsidiary of Adidas, producing a unique range of highly technical, advanced sportswear, in addition to classic vintage reissues from the brand's heyday.

Reebok has created a number of legendary footwear designs including the Reebok Freestyle, Classic Leather, Workout, Ventilator, Pump and InstaPump Fury. The brand has collaborated with the likes of Gosha Rubchinskiy, Palace, Beams and even Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z.
